This training course has for target audience the persons who work with the elderly struggling with dementia.
- Upcoming date : February 25th, from 9h00 to 12h00
Objectives:
- To recognize the different types of dementia
- To identify the behavioral and psychological manifestations of dementia
- To predict the occurrence of BPSD
- To reduce by 85% agitation behaviors (wandering, intrusion, resistance to care, aggressive outbursts, suspicion of theft, crying, repetitive vocalization, etc.)
- To demonstrate adequate skills while caring for people with dementia
- To develop communication modes and prevention strategies.
This training is eligible for the per diem rate of 50$ per person and will be reimbursed by ARIHQ. To register, contact the trainer (see coordinates below) and provide :
- the name of the RI,
